Navigational Mapping™ Technique

It’s an honest and solution-focused approach that will allow you to discover new possible paths and solutions you may not have considered before.

meet where you are

We understand that everyone deals with situations differently. We will meet you at whatever stage you are within your journey, without rushing or pressuring you into skipping integral parts of your healing and/or coping process toward wellness

map the strategy

We will map out a strategy that is solution-driven by identifying the solvable situations within your journey, setting specific goals, designing an action plan to achieve said goals, and lastly, examining the impact of the strategy implemented

navigate with clarity

Through one-on-one sessions, we’ll work together to explore safe paths that will help you nurture your thoughts and feelings and bring you to where you want to be with yourself and/or others. We promise that you will never feel adrift, and that you will always know what to expect from our sessions together

What to expect:

Your first session
a) ASSESSING THE JOURNEY

Our first session will focus on understanding your circumstances, and getting a real sense for what you’re looking to address.

Through a series of Q&A, we will identify, together, the focus of your visit and I will offer some ideas of strategies we could implement so that you can reclaim the peace of mind and wellness that you seek.

This is also the opportunity to ask me questions about my background, my work, my process, and why my approach to counseling would be a good fit for you.

b) BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP

Feeling comfortable and relaxed is a critical part of our journey together if you decide to work with me. Together, we will decide if we’re a good fit for each other during our first session.

Seeking therapy can seem to be a puzzling process at first, but I commit to making it transparent, and seamless for you. This is where our relationship starts, and like in all healthy relationships, we will hold each other accountable and navigate the journey, together.
